SBLI USA’s Fixed Annuities
Both of SBLI USA’s fixed annuity offerings come with multiple interest rate guarantee periods and an optional return of premium feature. Additionally, both products allow owners to withdraw up to 10% of their contract’s value annually without penalty.
- SBLI’s Select Choice® Single Premium Deferred Annuity includes a market value adjustment feature that may alter the contract’s value at the time of withdrawal. Customers can choose a guarantee period of three, five or seven years. This annuity has a $5,000 minimum premium.
- The Select Choice® Plus Single Premium Deferred Annuity has a $2,000 minimum premium and four guarantee periods to choose from: three years, four years, five years or seven years. Owners can also choose to add one or more riders, including a market value adjustment rider, return of premium rider and penalty-free withdrawal rider.
SBLI USA’s Indexed Annuity
SBLI USA also offers the Safe Solution® Single Premium Fixed Index Deferred Annuity. This indexed annuity has a minimum premium of $5,000 and offers three surrender periods to choose from: five years, seven years or nine years.
With the Safe Solution® annuity, owners can choose how much of their premium they allocate to each of the three interest-crediting accounts. The first account is a fixed rate that’s credited daily, while the other two are indexed accounts tied to the performance of the S&P 500.
