Rubina K. Hossain, a Certified Financial Planner™ and one of Annuity.org’s esteemed financial experts, will lead a virtual presentation as part of Bloomberg Tax’s Lunch and Learn series for October. The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. EDT on Oct. 26, 2022.

Annuity.org and Bloomberg Lunch & Learn

Titled, “How to Know When to Fire a Client,” the presentation will help professionals in the financial industry understand where to draw the line when dealing with difficult clients and how to have the conversation when it’s time to let a customer go.

Though the presentation is aimed at financial advisors and tax professionals, consumers who use these professionals’ services might also find it helpful. During the presentation, you’ll learn the mistakes clients make that prevent your advisor from being able to work at their best.

When asked about the key takeaway of the Lunch and Learn, Hossain told Annuity.org, “[Clients and advisors] are on this path together. You’re partnered with each other, so if you have someone who’s exhibiting these traits or behaviors, it’s going to be difficult to accomplish your goals.”

In addition to her work as a contributor with Annuity.org, Hossain works as a client advisor for MEIRA, a financial advisory firm headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida. With over 15 years of financial planning experience, she specializes in preparing and presenting sound holistic financial plans to ensure clients achieve their goals.

Hossain will present the Lunch and Learn event with the help of her colleague and fellow Certified Financial Planner, Kelben Holbrook. Holbrook is an enrolled agent and founder of Holbrook Accounting Services. He is passionate about helping business owners and investors run their operations more efficiently.
