An immediate annuity is an annuity that can start paying that lifetime guaranteed income that somebody is looking for as early as 30 days after it's funded. It is a single premium annuity and most often those are funded from old retirement accounts for what case, for those type of people that are just about ready to leave the workforce and are entering into retirement.
