Is an Annuity a Good Investment?

When we speak about annuities, we're always hesitant to use the word investment unless we're talking about a variable annuity. So is it a good place to keep your money and have it safe? Absolutely there's no if ands, or buts about it, you know? You know, as far as the return on that, I mean, you have some wonderful guarantees that you're going to have within the contrast for minimal interest rate crediting. But you also have with some of these products, these wonderful opportunities for growth based off a different indexes within the structure of the annuity itself. But what I love about them is that with a single premium immediate annuity, a deferred income annuity, a fixed annuity, whether it's a fixed indexed annuity or a multi-year guarantee annuity, you are guaranteed that your money is 100% safe and who doesn't like to hear that their money is 100% safe?
