When I look at it personally, you've just afforded yourself a safe depot. And what I mean by that is, you know, you can look at, you know, going into the market, which is a wonderful thing.

And there's always going to be that risk and reward factor, right? If I go and I purchase any stock or mutual funds, there's no guarantee that there's going to be an increase in the value, and certainly it could decrease in value, as most of us know. So with an annuity, what I love about this is I can put a portion of my money into a vehicle that no matter what happens with the market, I'm going to know that it's safe and I'm at least going to get some minimal interest crediting regardless of what is, occurring in the markets.
